CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Tabletop Christmas Tree Yaaay! I am finally almost through with my Christmas decorations and I think they are my favorite…ever!  Sooo…today I want to show you my little tabletop Christmas tree! I stopped doing a big tree several years ago and do lots of special  little trees instead.

kitty My co-host today is Miss Kitty who has been working in the background to clean up and put away all the Christmas mess that we made! Thanks, Kitty!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Tabletop Tree3 This is the largest of the mini trees around my house and it has a place of honor…on my great-grandfather’s little table. I open up the leaves and use it behind one of the love seats.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Tabletop Christmas Tree 2 I love it…so festive! I have kept the theme to mostly bright red ornaments and silvery snowflakes.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Cardinal Tree And you may have noticed that the ornaments are actually cardinals…one of my favorite birds. I have a pair that visits my backyard bird feeder all year long!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Lantern One one side of the tree is a lantern holding a tiny tree and a gift…wrapped in Kraft paper and tied with a plaid ribbon….reflecting my burlap and tartan plaid theme this year.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Tart Tins On the other side…one of my favorite Goodwill finds ever…a vintage French wire egg basket! It’s the real deal, with handles worn to a fabulous patina from years of use….and for under $2.00! Woo hoo! I have filled it with my collection of old-fashioned Christmas cookie cutters and Swedish tart tins and tied it with another plaid bow.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Basket Below the table is a basket filled with more Kraft paper and plaid packages. I have hung a frosted candle ring as a wreath from one of the knobs. And speaking of patina…don’t you just love the look of antique wood?

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Tabletop Christmas Tree And there you have it…the first of the mini trees that I will be showing you! I love the way it looks with my burlap and plaid mantel that you see in the background! Come back for another visit and I will show you more of my little Christmas trees…so fun and festive!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed a little peek at my Christmas mantel!  Please visit these wonderful bloggers and their beautiful blogs to see what they are up to and to find a list of this week’s participants!
