CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Last Minute Patriotic Candles and Vases

I’ve got a fun and super easy idea to share with you today…my last minute patriotic candle holders, which can also serve as vases! You still have plenty of time to whip them up for your Memorial Day table or save them for the 4th of July! They literally only take minutes to make and are inexpensive, too!

Here’s what you will need:

Three vases (Mine came from Dollar Tree)
Fabric with stars (Mine came from Walmart)
Fabric with stripes (Also from Walmart)
Hot glue gun
Jute twine

And here’s what you will do:

Cut fabric to fit the vase, allowing for a small overlap
Wrap around the vase and secure at the overlap with dots of hot glue
Finish it off by wrapping and tying jute twine

And that’s it! Easy peasy!

Now just add pillar candles or fill with your favorite summer flowers! They make a fun addition to your holiday table and you can use them all summer!
