- Several colors of fine glitter (Mine came from Hobby Lobby)
- White glitter
- Mod Podge
- Flat brush
- Small bowl
- Spoon
- Small plastic eggs (Mine came in a pack of 24 from Dollar Tree)
- Wax paper
- Mix the colored glitter with the white in a small bowl…1 part color, 2 parts white. This will give it a little more sparkle and texture.
- Choose an egg that is roughly the same color as the glitter you will use. Make sure it is firmly closed.
- Paint the egg with a layer of Mod Podge and place it in the bowl of glitter.
- Spoon the glitter over the egg until it is completely covered.
- Using the spoon, remove the egg from the bowl and place on wax paper to dry.
I love them! The jewel-tone colors are going to add so much pizzazz to my Easter décor! And it hardly took any time at all to create this look!
And stay tuned…because I am working on a fun way to display your eggs, too!
Remember to pin it!
