I can’t do fancy needle work, but my no-sew faux cross-stitch Valentine tea towel gives the impression that I can! It’s actually an easy-to-do iron-on transfer. Doesn’t it look real? The free graphic is included in the tutorial.
This one is so fun and easy that the kiddos could help! My Valentine DIY Sharpie plate and mug make a sweet gift…
…especially if you add some cookies! You will find my favorite sugar cookie recipe included as well.
And although it's not just for Valentine's Day, my Dollar Store pastry dome is another great idea for a sweet gift!
This vintage “Bunny Love” Valentine pillow adds the just-right Valentine-y touch for me and can go through Easter, too!
I am also sharing a few of my Valentine vignettes plus a vintage French Valentine that you can print and use as well.
And if you love vintage ironstone, then you’ll like my Valentine centerpiece…starring my Red Cliff ironstone tea pot! I also added a generous helping of the sweater hearts (actually Christmas ornaments) that I found on sale at Hancock Fabrics after Christmas last year!
And even more of them found their way on to my rustic Valentine wreath with burlap added for texture.
Here’s another easy-to-make idea…my Pottery Barn inspired no-sew Valentine tea towel! Once again, an iron-on transfer creates the look of pretty handwork.
And continuing with the sweater hearts, my Farmhouse Valentine mantel combines galvanized elements with ironstone and burlap for a fun vintage look.
And finally, I have even more fun ideas for Valentine’s Day for you to check out…including several Pottery Barn inspired pillows. You will find them here.
But I have to say that the very first Valentine pillow that I ever made is still my favorite…my ticking and toile French Valentine pillow!
And I think even Baby Kitty would agree! How about you? Have you started thinking about Valentine’s Day?
