I always linger over my first love…blue and white china! And this vintage set is simply gorgeous!
I must admit that I have a thing about tureens! This one will definitely come home with me...virtually, that is!
I stop and admire this lovely urn each time I come here. I love that garland. It just looks like it might have belonged to the Empress Josephine!
I always associate mercury glass with winter and Christmas for some reason…but these lovely bird-topped finials just say spring, don’t they? And...wow!...what a fabulous mirrored footed tray!
And here’s more springy mercury glass including a rooster compote, a bunny and a little birdie!
Now let’s check out a little furniture! We’ve got oodles of virtual bucks, remember? Gotta love the frenchy fabric on these chairs! And that pair of urns stopped me in my tracks!
And I love this chest with numbered drawers! I’m afraid I would need a little directory to remember what I put in it! lol That grey finish is wonderful!
I don’t know what it is, but there is just something about this lamp! Maybe it's those lines and the color!
If you know me, you know I have a thing about goats, sheep and lambs, too. Sooo… you know I love this lamp…made with a lamb mold as its base!
You might also know that I love pillows…especially burlap pillows! But what makes this one special for me is the details. I love that red and white checked piping! It just sets off the vintage webbing trim.
If you are a fan of vintage shoe forms, there are tons to choose from! And I love the colors of those old glass seltzer bottles!
This is really different…a floral container formed from lots of little glass vases!
And I have to admire this French bottle drying rack. You may remember, however, that I did find my own bargain French bottle rack in a smaller size.
I love this little guy! If he looks familiar…
…it’s because my oh-so-similar little guy shows up in the background of my projects from time to time…like in my vintage yardstick chalkboard! He was a Goodwill find at under $4.00.
I love vintage castor sets and this one is a beauty…
…as is this one! This one even has a little bell for calling the servants…how Downton Abbey!
But I don’t need a virtual one since I already have a real one…and mine was only $20…and I’m not talking virtual bucks! Woo hoo! And it even has all of its tops…not easy to find. You can see more of my Victorian castor set here. Funny how I am attracted to the same things over and over!
I think I bought one of just about everything...virtually, of course! Now I will have to ship it all to my virtual house in Provence! So how did you do? What did you buy with your virtual tax refund?
