CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas PorchIt’s almost Christmas and I realized that I haven’t shown you my farmhouse Christmas porch! I’ve been enjoying having a rustic farmhouse look throughout my house this year and my porch is no exception!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas Porch8 My porch is very small and there is not room for anything elaborate…but that’s really alright since the farmhouse look that I want is very simple! It echoes what you will find inside…lanterns, greenery and burlap with galvanized accents.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas Porch2 It all starts with a simple basket of greenery and berries on the door…all dressed up with a red burlap bow.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas Porch7 More red bows are found at each corner of the garland, which is accented with red ornaments.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas Porch5On each side of the door is an olive bucket tied with more red burlap and filled with the boxwoods that are always present on the porch. The olive buckets were an unbelievable $10 find at Walmart…yes, you read that correctly! Beside them are the sap buckets that I found at the Country Living Fair. I have filled them with greenery, pinecones and berries.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Finding Farmhouse Style at WalmartYou can read more about the olive buckets and see the rest of the galvanized goodies that I found at Walmart by clicking here.

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas Porch3 The lanterns on the porch reflect the red ornaments in the garland. In this one…simple red ornaments in three textures…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas Porch6 …in this one, more red ornaments topped by a star…

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas Porch4 …and this one is filled entirely with stars of two kinds!

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT A Farmhouse Christmas Porch8And here’s a final look at my simple and rustic farmhouse Christmas porch…just right for my little house and a nod to what awaits you inside…
